IOM organized new information sessions under project SURE, directed to counsellors working with migrants in Portugal, Ireland, Belgium and Brazil. Between the months of June and September, two sessions were organized in Portugal (four in total), two in Belgium, two in Ireland and three in Brazil.
In total, more than 110 counsellors and local partners got to know project SURE and the work of IOM, shared experiences and good practices and discussed ways to better support the needs of migrants who intend to return to the country of origin.
Sessions were planned to occur in person, but happened online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
